According to Ireporter Online, United States President Donald Trump confirmed on Saturday that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was killed in a series of coordinated US-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran. Trump described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in history” and called his death “justice for the people of Iran” and Americans affected by Iran-backed actions.

Trump stated that the operation was executed using advanced intelligence and close collaboration with Israel, leaving the Iranian leadership with no opportunity to evade capture or attack. He described the moment as “the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their country” and encouraged citizens to seize what he characterized as a historic opportunity.

The US president further alleged that segments of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, military, and police were seeking immunity and appeared unwilling to continue hostilities. He emphasized that military operations would continue as required, asserting, “The heavy and pinpoint bombing will continue… as long as necessary to achieve our objective of peace throughout the Middle East and, indeed, the world.”

Satellite imagery circulated online showed significant damage to a compound in Tehran reportedly associated with Khamenei. In the wake of the strikes, tensions across the region escalated, with reports suggesting retaliatory attacks by Iran targeting areas hosting US military bases or allied governments. The Iranian Red Crescent reportedly confirmed that more than 200 people have been killed across the country following the strikes.
