Victor Osimhen Hits 200 Career Goals As Galatasaray Pulverizes Kayserispor

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen reached a major milestone on Sunday, scoring the 200th goal of his senior career as Galatasaray secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen doubled Galatasaray’s lead with a composed strike and later provided an assist before being substituted in the 82nd minute. Mauro Icardi completed the scoring from the penalty spot, ensuring an emphatic win for the Turkish giants.

The landmark goal highlighted Osimhen’s scintillating form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations. He had also scored in Galatasaray’s previous league match, quickly regaining his goalscoring rhythm after failing to score in a recent Champions League fixture against Manchester City.

Across his career, the 25-year-old forward has tallied 165 goals in 284 club appearances, alongside 35 goals in 51 appearances for the Nigerian national team. His most prolific spell came at Napoli, where he scored 76 times, while his impact at Galatasaray has been immediate, netting 51 goals in just 61 matches. Osimhen’s goals have come in 12 different competitions, with Serie A yielding the highest return at 65 goals, followed by 33 in the Turkish Super Lig. Last weekend, he also became the fastest player in Galatasaray’s history to reach 50 goals, underscoring his extraordinary influence since joining the club.

The win keeps Galatasaray atop the Super Lig table with 49 points, six points clear of second-placed Fenerbahçe, who have a game in hand.
