VIP Treatment Exposed: Bobrisky Spent Only 3 Weeks In Kirikiri Prison After Paying ₦15 Million

In a recent phone call leaked by social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky allegedly admitted to serving his sentence outside the prison system.

Sources suggest that Bobrisky paid ₦15 million to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to clear ‘money laundering’ charges from her record. These claims have reignited debates about corruption within Nigeria’s prison system.

Responding to the growing scandal, Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has ordered a thorough investigation into allegations of bribery and corruption within the Nigerian Correctional Service.

Although Bobrisky was officially taken to Kirikiri prison in April, sources disclosed to FIJ that she was released after just three weeks. Her official release date was recorded in August, prompting suspicion about the true nature of her incarceration.

A prison official revealed to FIJ, “Bobrisky spent only three weeks in Kirikiri before being transferred to another location unknown to us. The whole thing was arranged, and money exchanged hands.”

According to the source, Bobrisky was “guarded like a president” during her stay and received VIP treatment. “She stayed in a special cell and confirmed that the money she paid was real,” the source added.

Despite being isolated from other inmates, one incident drew attention. A fellow inmate, on a video call with his girlfriend, turned the camera toward Bobrisky. This was considered an invasion of privacy, leading to the inmate being locked up for nearly two months as punishment.

The source further stated, “Bobrisky was heavily guarded, so there were few incidents like this, and after three weeks, she was quietly taken away.”
