We Do Not Regret Voting Dennis Idahosa- Residents Laud Lawmaker For Purposeful Leadership
Local residents on Friday in Igoubazuwa local government area of Edo State hailed the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Dennis Idahosa for his purposeful leadership and community relationship with constituents.
The residents made the commendation when they visited a skills acquisition centre initiated by the youthful lawmaker in Igoubazuwa, the project is currently undergoing construction and would soon be ready for use by the community.
The excited youths commended the drive in which the lawmaker is going about his parliamentary duties and urged him to continue to put the people first in his legislative responsibilities.
Speaking on behalf of some youths who paid an unscheduled visit earlier today at the construction site, Mr Osaigbovo Iredia the spokesman for the group stated that they were satisfied with the pace and quality of work so far exhibited by the contractors handling the job.
“Ever since we have been following the lawmaker in his activities since he resumed his legislative duties at Abuja, we are marvelled at the way he has continued his relationship with local residents and the community elders, not only has the lawmaker been an instrument in settling communal disputes his patriotism in handling the affairs of our people is second to none.
We have closely watched and seen how he carries everyone along in his constituency projects which are scattered all over Ovia South West/Ovia North East.
His dedication to seeing that his constituency projects meet the required standard is an attestation that the lawmaker is indeed a good choice, we do not regret giving him our support and we hope he continues to meet the expectations of our people.”
The youths particularly singled out his selfless efforts in supervising projects, conflict management and decision making as worthy of praise.
The skills acquisition centre when completed would be an avenue to drive economic stability by empowering the youths in different areas of specialization.
