Wizkid And Tems Receive Platinum Plaque For ‘Essence’ In The US

Nigerian artists, Wikid and Tems have received a platinum plaque for their song of the summer, “Essence” after it attained over 400,000 sales in the US.

The duo took receipt of the platinum plaque for “Essence”on Monday after BigWiz’s show last night at the NOVO event space in Los Angeles which also witnessed the duo perform together.

In the video, the global artists were seen standing on the red carpet at the event venue, with a couple of people holding the plaque in their hands.

The thrilled “Ojuelegba” singer expressed gratitude to the organisers and his team for their unflinching support and prayed for God’s blessing on them all.

“This is wow to me! It feels like a dream. Thank you guys so much for supporting us. Thank you so much to the team for believing in the dream from early.

“You know the whole gang, like, thank you so much. I appreciate you guys so much and I pray that God will continue to bless each and every one of you,” he said.
