Wike vowed to step up efforts to tackle criminal activities across the capital.

Wike lauded the efforts of security agencies for enhancing safety in both the city center and its surrounding areas. He revealed that additional operational vehicles would be distributed to security forces, with the handover scheduled for Thursday. These new resources are expected to bolster the fight against crime.

“Criminals will have no hiding place in the FCT, particularly this December,” Wike stated firmly. He expressed his gratitude to the security agencies for their tireless commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the nation’s capital.

It’s worth noting that in July, Wike had already distributed 50 operational vehicles, equipped with communication devices, to further support the security forces in their operations.
