Zenith Bank Crowned Nigeria’s Best in London as Global Finance Giants Bow at Euromoney Awards!
Zenith Bank Plc has clinched the prestigious title of “Nigeria’s Best Bank” at the 2025 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, further solidifying its dominance in the nation’s financial sector. The award presentation, held on July 17, 2025, at The Peninsula in London, drew global banking elites and underscored Zenith Bank’s remarkable trajectory in innovation, corporate governance, and digital financial solutions.
According to iReporter Online, the recognition was bestowed upon Zenith Bank for its outstanding performance in delivering top-tier financial services and exceptional value to its clients and stakeholders. The Euromoney Awards, which received a record 770 entries this year, are considered one of the banking industry’s most respected global accolades, celebrating excellence and strategic leadership across international financial markets.
The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, OON, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honour, dedicating it to the bank’s loyal customers and its visionary founder, Jim Ovia, CFR. Furthermore, it has been repeatedly recognized as Bank of the Year (Nigeria) by The Banker in 2020, 2022, and 2024; and Best Bank in Nigeria by Global Finance from 2020 through 2022, as well as in 2024 and 2025.
