Okpekpe Race: Ambrose Alli University Runs Against Examination Malpractices And Social Vices


The 2019 edition of the IAAF Silver Label Okpekpe Road Race was held last week and was won by Fikadu Dawit from Bahrain.
The Okpekpe race is an international event that attracts world class runners.
Various organisations also use the event as an opportunity to run for various courses.
The Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma ran against examination malpractice  and Social Vices in schools and the society at large.
In what has become a regular the Vice Chancellor of AAU Ekpoma, Prof. Ignatius Onimawo said the school was well represented last year as well and they ran against cultism at the event which he claims is evidently clear as the school has completely ridden itself of cult activities .
The Vice Chancellor said this year he led staff and students of the university in their large numbers to run against exam malpractices and social vices in schools and the society at large .
Prof.Onimawo further said the institution has embarked on Computer Based Examinations which he says is the best in the entire country.
Also he used the opportunity to list  the current giant strides which the institution is undergoing in infrastructure and its awesome ICT innovations.
