Three ‘cultists killed’ in clashes in Lagos

Three cult suspects were last week killed in separate clashes in Lagos.

It was gathered that the cult wars took place at Ikorodu and Ajah, areas that have become notorious for cult related violence, especially between the Eiye and Aiye fraternities.

These clashes occurred few weeks after a passerby was killed along Powerline Junction during a cult shooting.

The Nation gathered that one of the clashes occurred along Igbogbo-Igbe Road in Ijede on Thursday where one of the victims was killed, while the other one was at Offin also in Ikorodu.

It was learnt that the body of the Ijede victim was left on the road until after 1: pm when policemen evacuated it.

Some residents of the area said that some youths who were seen wearing charms, visited the scene and told them that the victim was their family member.

According to a source, the Offin victim was slaughtered and his killers came back to be sure he was really dead.

At Lamgbasa, Ajah one of the cultists who was shot by a rival group was said to have been taken to the hospital by the police where he later died.
