Nigerians Stand With Hon Makinde Says We Owe Nobody Apology For Canvassing For  Tinubu

Nigerians have taken to their social media handles in solidarity with ex- Federal House Of Reps Member Hon. Rotimi Makinde over his recent endorsement of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2023 Presidency. The Hon lawmaker in a recent interview showered encomiums on the former Lagos State Governor and made a case on why Tinubu should be the preferred choice to take over from President Buhari.

However, some Nigerians slid(ed) into his DM to cast aspersions on him over his choice of a presidential aspirant. The lawmaker in reply to his critics said he owes no one an apology for his unflinching support of the Jagaban insisting that no other Nigeria is better qualified for the job than Tinubu.

According to him ” Tinubu is not only qualified but preferred by the vast majority of Nigerians irrespective of their political affiliations and  the South West region of Nigeria cannot afford to lose the golden opportunity at its disposal.”

His reply has since drawn a viral response on the internet with many Nigerians coming out to openly endorsing the former Lagos State Governor saying ” We Owe Nobody Apologies For Canvassing For Tinubu”.

See some reactions to the viral trend below…

“Likewise me, and all of us supporters of Asiwaju BOLA TINUBU, we owe no one apology for canvassing for Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
Kudos to Hon. Rotimi Makinde for this statement.
We are not going to relent, we stand with Jagaban at all times, and he will emerge and win the election come 2023.
We have been experiencing some criticism from those that have no good plans for Nigerians.
Nigerians will never go back to square one, that’s why it is very important to support and rally around our good leader of leaders and the best candidate for the job.
Congratulations in advance to Asiwaju BOLA TINUBU and all of us.”-Anonymous.

“Our votes for the Jagaban is not a waste. In fact, we will cast our votes for him to the fullest that day, and we are going to monitor the election at various polling Units, and the following day, we will be expecting the INEC Chairman to declare him the winner of the election and from there celebration and jubilation will follow within and in the diaspora.” -Charles

“On Asiwaju’s mandate we stand, we owe nobody any apology for supporting the best available hand for the job, Tinubu’s financial experience and detribalized stance is what we need now for a United Nigeria, May Almighty God grant us our wishes. We remain unapologetically in support of Tinubu, only the looters are scared of Tinubu” Temisan.
