Adaramodu also disclosed that although the Senate typically does not hold sessions on Mondays, they have made an exception due to the importance attached to this national assignment. He stated, “We’ve suspended all our rules for them to commence the exercise next Monday.”

During the screening, the Senate will carefully assess the character, personality, and experiences of each nominee. Adaramodu expressed confidence that at the end of the process, Nigerians will not be disappointed with the final selection.

He further emphasized the significance of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) that will be formed after the screening, as it is expected to play a vital role in revitalizing the Nigerian economy.

Adaramodu made it clear that having an impressive resume alone will not be sufficient for the nominees. Their character and ability to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in their resumes will also be taken into consideration during the screening process.
