On Monday, Israel released security camera footage depicting the October 7 attack where Hamas gunmen pursued individuals at an outdoor music festival.
The footage revealed a distressing scene, with one gunman shooting a woman at point-blank range.

Israel shared the video to counter international criticism and justify its response to the Hamas-led violence, which escalated into a severe conflict in Gaza.

Despite calls for a ceasefire, Israel declared its intention to continue the campaign until eradicating the terrorist group. The video portrays the chaotic scene of people fleeing from armed assailants at a festival near the border, ultimately turning into a tragic event.
In the footage’s conclusion, a woman, pursued by a gunman, crouches on the ground before being shot at close range, resulting in her collapse. The woman’s identity remains undisclosed.
The information provided indicates that the location of the footage near Kibbutz Alumim has been verified by Reuters through road layout, trees, and a nearby building matching satellite imagery of the area.
Regarding the situation in Gaza, the Hamas-run government reports at least 13,300 people killed, including 5,600 children.
Israeli officials emphasize focusing on the killing of about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and the capture of 240 others by Hamas during a deadly day in Israel’s history. While there is strong support and sympathy for Israel from Western governments and many citizens, the siege of Gaza has also generated anger.
