FG Gives Conditions To License Modular Refineries
Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum, announced that the federal government will provide financial support to licensed private modular refinery owners with proven records.
He highlighted that the main challenges faced by modular refineries include feedstock and access to funding, and the government is actively working to address these issues.
The Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote, mentioned that Waltersmith Modular Refinery has produced nearly 600 million liters of various petroleum products, with about 20 trucks leaving the refinery daily.
