Many Kaduna Villagers Feared Killed In Air Strike

In an air strike reportedly carried out by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) at Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, numerous casualties have been reported.

The incident occurred around 9 pm on Sunday during a gathering for the Maulud celebration.

Although the Air Force is yet to confirm the attack, a source in the community stated that the villagers were mistakenly targeted, with the assumption that they were bandits migrating from neighboring Zamfara State to camp in Tudun Biri village.

The incident has led to panic, prompting residents to flee to neighboring villages.

An emergency security meeting has been convened by the Kaduna State government, chaired by the Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, with key security and military officials in attendance.
