The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially declares the NNPP candidates winners of their respective constituencies.

For the Kura/Garun Mallam State Constituency, Alhassan Ishaq of NNPP secured a resounding victory with 37,262 votes, surpassing Musa Daurawar of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 30,803 votes. This outcome follows the directive from the Appeal Court for a rerun election at 20 polling units in the constituency.

Similarly, in the Rimin Gado/Tofa State Constituency, Bello Butu-Butu emerged triumphant as he garnered 31,135 votes, defeating his APC rival, who received 25,577 votes. The rerun election in this constituency was mandated by the Appeal Court for 33 polling units.

The NNPP’s success in securing two state assembly seats underscores its growing influence and appeal in Kano. These victories position NNPP as a notable force in the political landscape of the state, marking a significant chapter in its electoral journey
