In a statement released on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu emphasized the indispensable contribution of Nigerian women to the country’s growth and greatness.
Acknowledging their remarkable achievements across various fields, President Tinubu highlighted the resilience, strength, courage, and ingenuity displayed by Nigerian women, which serve as a beacon of hope and possibility not only in Nigeria but globally.
The President underscored the relevance of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,’ aligning it with his administration’s commitment to educating and empowering women. He emphasized the importance of women’s inclusion in governance and their active participation in driving progress across all sectors of the economy.
President Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to investing in the education of the girl child and implementing inclusive programs to support women’s roles in knowledge, science, technology, research, and innovation.
