IPOB adamantly declared its stance against allowing South-East governors to relinquish Igbo ancestral lands to address the crisis.

Tinubu had pledged to resolve the crisis within three weeks if governors provided lands for the purpose.

In response, IPOB’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, issued a stern warning, asserting that the South-East region would not permit Fulani herders.

Powerful’s statement denounced Tinubu’s call as reckless and an insult to indigenous peoples who have suffered at the hands of Fulani terrorists.

He criticized Tinubu’s remarks, labeling them as thoughtless and irresponsible, especially considering the atrocities committed by Fulani herders against indigenous communities in Nigeria.

IPOB emphasized its unwavering stance against any proposal that could potentially endanger the lives and ancestral lands of Igbo people.
