According to reports gathered by Ireporteronline, the fire outbreak caused substantial damage to the station.

NNPC Issues Statement on Petrol Price

In a related development, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has clarified that there has been no reduction in the price of petrol and diesel at its filling stations nationwide.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the NNPCL’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the company refuted rumors circulating about changes in the prices of petrol and diesel at its service stations across the country. The NNPCL urged Nigerians to disregard these reports entirely.

Earlier reports had suggested a decrease in the depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS or petrol) from N640 per liter to N630 per liter, along with plans for direct sales to independent marketers. However, the NNPCL has labeled these reports as false and misleading.

The NNPC Limited reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the current sufficiency in petroleum products supply across all its retail stations nationwide.
