According to reports, the main areas of operation for the hoodlums include Kpakungu, Soje, Anguwan Daji, Limawa, and Ogbomosho, among others. Residents have expressed concern over the incessant attacks, highlighting the need for swift action to restore security in the affected areas.

Confirming the incident, SP Wasiu Abiodun, the Public Relations Officer of the Niger State Police Command, assured that the police are actively responding to the situation. He stated that police patrol teams are on the ground, and arrests are being made at various locations linked to the attacks.

In a separate development, tension escalated in Kaduna State as members of the proscribed Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), popularly known as Shiites, gathered for a procession in Kaduna City. The peaceful protest turned chaotic as law enforcement officers, particularly the Nigeria Police, intervened to disperse the crowd near the Katsina roundabout along Ahmadu Bello Way.

The presence of security personnel prompted concern among locals, leading to the closure of numerous businesses along Ahmadu Bello Way as people sought to avoid potential confrontations. The situation underscores the need for effective dialogue and conflict resolution mechanisms to prevent further escalation of tensions.
