Presidency Launches New Initiative For Citizen Feedback

The Presidency has unveiled its Citizens’ Delivery Tracker (CDT), a new initiative aimed at enhancing citizen-government engagement by establishing a feedback mechanism for the priorities outlined by the Bola Tinubu administration. Bala-Usman explained that the platform, accessible through a web link (app.cdcu.gov.ng), will also be available as a downloadable app in the coming months. She highlighted that the launch marks the culmination of a comprehensive process initiated after Tinubu’s announcement of ministerial assessment plans for ministers and heads of government agencies at the Cabinet Retreat in November.

To achieve the set key performance indicators, the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) held numerous bilateral meetings with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) over six weeks. The initiative focuses on eight priority areas:

Economic reform for sustained inclusive growth
Enhancing national security for peace and prosperity
Advancing agriculture to ensure food security
Harnessing energy and natural resources for sustainable development
Improving infrastructure and transportation to facilitate growth
Prioritizing education, health, and social investment as fundamental components of development
Accelerating diversification through industrialization, digitization, creative arts, manufacturing, and innovation
Enhancing governance for efficient service delivery
