In a post on his official X handle, Sowore mocked the EFCC, suggesting that the agency should focus on prosecuting those responsible for economic sabotage rather than celebrating the imprisonment of Bobrisky.

Sowore pointed out former President Muhammadu Buhari, former Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami, former personal secretary Tunde Sabiu, and former Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele as individuals who have not faced prosecution despite allegedly causing massive economic damage to Nigeria.

He questioned the priorities of the EFCC, suggesting that Bobrisky’s real offense could not have been solely related to the abuse of the naira. Sowore emphasized the need for the EFCC to prioritize cases involving real financial criminals who have caused significant harm to the economy.

The post underscores Sowore’s criticism of the EFCC’s handling of high-profile cases and calls for accountability in prosecuting those responsible for financial mismanagement and corruption.
