Olafeso underscored that the economic situation during the PDP’s tenure was comparatively better than the current state. Speaking in Akure, Ondo State’s capital, he expressed dismay at the lack of visible remedies for the country’s economic woes.

Despite the bleak outlook, Olafeso remained hopeful for a brighter future under the PDP’s leadership. He affirmed his confidence in the party’s ability to restore prosperity and address the nation’s pressing issues once back in power.

The PDP stalwart emphasized the alarming disappearance of the middle class in Nigeria, highlighting pervasive poverty and escalating insecurity as pressing concerns. He urged Nigerians to rally behind the PDP’s vision of fostering prosperity and national development.

Olafeso’s remarks reflect the party’s determination to address socioeconomic challenges and restore hope for a better future. He expressed optimism that the PDP’s return to power would usher in positive change and pave the way for a more prosperous Nigeria.
