Six Suspected Boko Haram Logistics Suppliers Apprehended In Borno

Six suspected logistics suppliers for Boko Haram have been apprehended by Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) troops in Mafa LGA of Borno state. The suspects, identified as Usman Gujja, Abu Hamman Dawud, Ramat Ibrahim, Hala Hadum, Alhaji Kawu, and Bulama Ali Boscoro, are believed to receive items from the terrorists, sell them, and return the profits to the terrorist group. They have been handed over to military intelligence for further investigation.

This development comes in the wake of a recent arrest of a suspected Boko Haram terrorist in the Askira Uba community of Borno state.

In a separate incident, suspected Fulani militias launched a deadly assault on Mandung-Mushu and Kopnanle villages in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, resulting in the tragic deaths of approximately 10 individuals.

Despite the presence of security forces such as the DSS, army, and Police, the assailants, identified as Fulani terrorists, were able to carry out their atrocious actions without facing consequences. The attack, predominantly targeting children, is seen as part of a calculated effort to instil fear and perpetrate further displacement within the communities.

The chairman of Bokkos Cultural Development Council (BCDC) Vanguard strongly denounced the act of terrorism, emphasizing that it is part of a larger scheme to enforce sharia law and take over territory. The BCDC Vanguard had recently disputed a leaked memo accusing their community of plotting violence against Fulani settlers, labeling it as false and slanderous.
