Police Arrest Boat Operators Linked To Junior Pope’s Fatal Accident

The operators of the boat involved in the tragic accident that claimed the lives of Nollywood actor Junior Pope and four other crew members have been apprehended by the Anambra State Police Command. Ikenga revealed that the boat operators are currently in police custody in connection with the unfortunate incident. Additionally, Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie in which Junior Pope was featured, voluntarily reported to the police. He emphasized that other members of the cast and crew of the movie would be summoned for questioning, assuring that a thorough investigation would be conducted without any detail overlooked.

“Yes, the boat operators have been arrested. Even the producer of the movie, Adanma Luke. Their statements were taken, and interrogation is ongoing. Other members of the cast and crew of the movie would be invited for questioning,” Ikenga stated.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has accused Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), of covering up for Adanma Luke. Adanma was the producer of the movie in which Junior Pope was featured before the tragic incident occurred in the Anam River, claiming five lives.

In a post shared on Instagram, Doris alleged that Rollas is protecting Adanma due to her affiliation with his team. She urged the AGN president to take action and arrest Adanma over the fatal incident to uphold the integrity of the movie industry.
