Bobrisky, currently serving a six-month jail term for naira mutilation charges, was rumored to have been relocated to Kirikiri prison. However, an NCoS official refuted these claims, stating that Bobrisky remains detained at the Ikoyi prison.

The anonymous official clarified that Bobrisky’s offense did not warrant a transfer to a maximum-security prison like Kirikiri, where inmates serving life and death sentences are primarily housed. According to the official, such transfers are typically reserved for individuals convicted of capital offenses.
