In a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Adviser on Information and Strategy, it was revealed that President Tinubu was invited by the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to attend the summit, which will run from January 12 to 18.

The event will bring together global leaders to push forward sustainable development and socioeconomic progress. Under the theme “The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” the summit will provide a platform for policymakers, business leaders, and civil society members to discuss strategies for advancing a sustainable economy.

During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to showcase his administration’s reforms in energy, transportation, public health, and economic development. He will also hold discussions with the UAE leadership on matters of mutual interest between both nations.

President Tinubu is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Thursday, January 16.
