The actor emphasized that the spirits who once protected individuals and their lands are now angry, having been sidelined in favor of foreign influences. He called for a return to traditional ways, which he believes are pure and powerful.

Yul Edochie wrote, “Too many premature deaths these days. Young people dying in their twenties, thirties, forties. It is not normal. We’ve abandoned our traditions and embraced foreign ways, causing the spirits that protect us to become angry.”

Additionally, Edochie shared his belief that many pastors are divinely called to be native doctors but have been conditioned to view their true calling as evil, largely due to portrayals in Nollywood. He urged these pastors to embrace their true vocation to find fulfillment.
