Sh**cking Move: Tinubu Meets With Key Ogoni Leaders Amid Oil Exploration Talks

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently in a high-level meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and prominent Ogoni leaders. The delegation, which includes Senator Lee Maeba, Senators Magnus Abe, Olaka Nwogu, Bennett Birabi Barry, Mpigi, Joe Poroma, and key figures such as Chief Victor Giadom, Chief Kenneth Kobani, Monsignor Pius Kii, and Ledum Mitee, is discussing critical issues concerning Ogoniland.

Also in attendance are top government officials, including Mele Kyari, Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, and other ministers from various sectors. Though the agenda has not been revealed, it is believed to focus on the Ogoni clean-up initiative and the possible resumption of oil exploration in the area.

Meanwhile, there are concerns from the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP), which has expressed disappointment over being excluded from the meeting. MOSOP views the gathering as secretive, fearing it could undermine peace efforts in the region.
