Lagos Task Force Takes Action: Driver Who Injured Ogun Woman Set for Court

According to a statement from the task force spokesperson, Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, the incident occurred on Tuesday when Bello’s reckless driving left the victim, Oluwole Bukola, from Ibafo, Ogun State, severely injured.

The driver, who resides in Oshodi, Lagos, attempted to flee the scene but was swiftly apprehended by task force officers. The victim received immediate medical care following the accident. Preliminary investigations indicated that speeding and reckless driving were the causes of the collision.

Adetayo Akerele, the task force chairman, urged road users to be cautious and responsible on the road, stressing that driving requires patience and focus, not haste.

Bello, currently in custody, will be prosecuted under Lagos State law.
