The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State expressed deep sadness over the sudden loss. In a statement from the party’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris, the APC described the late lawmaker as a dedicated, honest, and God-fearing individual who served his constituency with utmost commitment. The party extended heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the people of Kaura Namoda South, and members of the state assembly, praying that Allah grants him Jannatul Firdaus and gives his loved ones strength to bear the loss.

Kasuwar-Daji will be laid to rest today in his hometown of Kasuwar-Daji in the Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.

In related news, the Nigerian Army’s 8 Division launched a major offensive on Monday night into the early hours of Tuesday to dismantle terrorist hideouts in Mati Forest, Zamfara State. The operation led to the killing of several terrorists, the seizure of arms and ammunition, and the destruction of their camps. One soldier was injured but has been stabilized after being evacuated to a medical facility.
