Just Two Slaps?’ – Burna Boy Opens Up On 10-Person Clash With DJ Tunez
According to Ireporter Online, Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has denied reports that he involved 10 other individuals in a recent confrontation with Nigerian disc jockey Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, widely known as DJ Tunez.
A video of the altercation circulated widely on social media, showing both entertainers in a physical scuffle and sparking reactions among fans. Following the incident, DJ Tunez and his mentor, Wizkid, alleged on social media that Burna Boy had teamed up with a group of men to attack the DJ.
In his posts, DJ Tunez claimed that Burna Boy struck him from behind and that he had to defend himself despite being outnumbered. “1 vs 10, and I stood my ground. That’s why you collected as well, when I defended myself,” he wrote, emphasizing the alleged scale of the confrontation.
During a livestream with fellow artist Shallipopi on Wednesday night, Burna Boy refuted the allegations. He admitted to slapping DJ Tunez twice but insisted that he acted alone. “No be 10 people touch that guy, na only me. I swear with my mama… Na only me, two slap na im I give am,” Burna Boy said, stressing that if others had joined him, the DJ would have sustained far more serious injuries.
