According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has sparked public debate after stating that wealth should not be viewed as the sole determinant of success.

The actress made the remarks in a post shared on her Instagram page, where she questioned the growing societal belief that financial prosperity automatically defines achievement. She challenged her followers to reflect on whether every successful person is necessarily wealthy, and whether every wealthy individual should be considered truly successful.

“Has money become the measure of success? Is money really the measure of success? Let’s hear your thoughts. Is every successful person rich? And is every rich person successful?” she wrote, engaging her audience in a discussion about the meaning of success.

Elendu further continued the conversation in the comment section, acknowledging that while financial stability is important, it does not fully define success. She stressed that true success, in her view, involves overall life satisfaction and the presence of other essential qualities beyond material wealth.

“Well, in my opinion, yes, but not totally o because a successful person must have achieved total life satisfaction to attain that title. If you don’t have money, e remain. But there are a whole lot of other things to possess to be called successful,” she added.
