Alleged Blasphemy: Police Declare Prime Suspects Wanted
The Sokoto Police Command has declared the prime suspects linked to the killing of Deborah Samuel wanted for culpable homicide.
The deceased, a student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE) Sokoto was murdered last Thursday by a mob on the College’s premises for alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
In a statement on Tuesday , the Command spokesman, ASP Sanusi Abubakar, said the suspects have been declared wanted for culpable homicide .

“Prime suspects that claimed the murder of Deborah Samuel on the viral video are declared wanted.
“The CP, Kamsldeen Kola Okunlola declared the suspects spotted in the viral video wanted.”
Abubakar said others arrested at the scene while dispersing the mob were charged to court and remanded in prison.
The Command reiterated its commitment towards apprehending the suspects while assuring ” it has already deployed all it’s intelligence and on the look out for the suspects.”
It appealed to the public for cooperation with the police and report any mere identification to the Command or any security outfit in their domain or through 07068848035.
