2023 Elections: See Results From Desmond Elliot’s Surulere Constituency
Desmond Elliot, a Nollywood actor turned politician, has won the Surulere constituency 1 assembly seat in Lagos.
The Independent National Electoral Commission held governorship and assembly elections across the country on Saturday (yesterday) (INEC).
While the election is currently in the sorting and collation stages, some polling units that experienced technological problems were rescheduled until Sunday (today).
One of those hotly contested seats was Surulere Constituency I. The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party are the leading candidates (LP).
After the results were tallied, Elliot received 17,877 votes, while the Labour Party candidate received 7,822 votes.
