2023 Elections: See Results From Funke Akindele’s Polling Unit
Olufunke Akindele, the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in the Lagos governorship election, has lost her polling unit to the incumbent, All Progressives Congress Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (APC).
Akindele’s polling station is 019, Ita Aro Square, ga/Ijimu ward, Ikorodu, Lagos State, where she voted earlier on Saturday.
Sanwo Olu received 77 votes to defeat the PDP’s Olajide ‘Jandor’ Adeniran and his running mate, Akindele, who received 19 votes.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party received three votes, while Funsho Doherty of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) received two votes.
