Reflecting on the challenges of the 2023 elections, the party highlighted its strong grassroots support and growing public preference, stressing that unity is crucial for victory in 2027.

“The Northwest PDP must reclaim its rightful place by providing quality leadership. All internal disputes at the national level must be swiftly resolved because Nigerians are counting on PDP for leadership,” the communiqué stated.

The meeting saw attendance from key PDP figures, including former Governors Ahmed Makarfi (Kaduna) and Ibrahim Shekarau (Kano), PDP’s Jigawa gubernatorial candidate Mustapha Sule Lamido, and the party’s National Youth Leader, among others.
