A New Edo is Rising: Reject Obaseki’s Threats And Embrace Change Watch VideoAs the election date approaches, Governor Godwin Obaseki has issued a concerning statement to the people of Edo State, declaring that the upcoming election on September 21st is a “do or die” affair. He went further, making a bold and dangerous claim that if Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not declared the winner, Edo State will “burn.”
Edo people, this is your state. You hold the power, not any politician. It’s time to rise up from your slumber and reject these threats. Obaseki and his candidate may believe they can force their way to victory, but you have the mandate to prove them wrong. Remember the wise saying: a bad tree cannot bring forth good fruit. The actions of a leader speak louder than their promises.
The choice is clear: reject Obaseki’s threats and choose the path of progress. A new Edo is rising, and it’s up to you to make it happen.
Let’s vote for Senator Monday Okpebholo for Governor and Mr. Project Dennis Idahosa for Deputy Governor. The future of Edo depends on it.
