Taking to Instagram, the Chippa United goalkeeper conveyed his regret to Nigerian supporters.

Under Jose Peseiro’s guidance, Nigeria took the lead in the first half courtesy of William Troost-Ekong.

However, Ivory Coast equalized in the 63rd minute, with Sebastien Haller scoring the winning goal in the 87th minute.
