Air Defense Shot Down Drones Over Kyiv : Ukraine

Following a barrage of Russian strikes on the capital, Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down 13 Iranian-made drones over Kyiv, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to the state energy operator, none of its power infrastructure was damaged.

According to reports the Biden administration is finalizing plans to send an advanced long-range air defense system to Ukraine to help counter Moscow’s attacks.

A Russian commander said , Russia cannot “defeat the NATO bloc” in Ukraine without using nuclear weapons. The Kremlin has not responded publicly to his remarks.
Russian strikes on critical infrastructure in Ukraine have put “almost every child” in the country’s physical and mental health “in desperate danger,” according to UNICEF.
