Another APC Faction Suspends Ganduje As National Chairman

This recent suspension comes after Malam Haladu Gwanjo, claiming to be the Legal Adviser of another APC faction in Ganduje Ward, previously announced Ganduje’s suspension, citing alleged corruption and other vices as reasons.

However, another faction represented by the Ward Chairman, Malam Ahmad Ganduje, declared support for Ganduje, expressing satisfaction with his leadership style.

In a new development on Sunday, another group announced Ganduje’s suspension, with Malam Ja’afar Ganduje, the secretary of the faction, speaking on behalf of 11 other executive members. They cited Ganduje’s alleged anti-party activities during the last general election and his failure to pay statutory dues to the party as reasons for the suspension. They also blamed Ganduje for contributing to the factionalization of the party at the ward level, which they said had brought the party to disrepute.

“We are the authentic executives of Ganduje ward and we have passed a vote of no confidence and imposed a new suspension on Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for series of reasons.”

The faction accused Ganduje of creating internal conflicts among party members and engaging in anti-party activities during the 2023 elections, which they claimed resulted in the party’s failure in the state.
