Abdullahi Sule, the Nasarawa State Governor, has received over 2,000 people from the Bassa ethnic group who have declared their support for the state’s ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa Local Government Area.

Sule welcomed the defectors into the APC, saying they would be treated equally with other members of the party.
He expressed confidence that the large turnout at the rally demonstrated that the people of the area were ready to deliver the APC in the 2023 general election, as they had always done in the past.
