BREAKING: Clearly, Tinubu Is Not In Charge – Bugaje Speaks With ‘Evidence’ On Who Is Running The Government
According to former House of Representatives member Usman Bugaje, the recent appointments made by President Bola Tinubu suggest that he may not be the one in control.
This sentiment arose particularly from the withdrawal of the appointment of Imam Kashim as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) after controversy over his experience level.
Additionally, the withdrawal of ministerial nominee Maryam Shetty before her Senate screening, and criticism of the appointment of EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede have raised questions about Tinubu’s leadership in his government.

All of these, according to Bugaje, are “evidence” that President Tinubu is not in charge of his government.
“I can tell you one thing. Clearly, what we have seen is evidence of the fact that the President is not in charge. Someone else is in charge. Now, it is for him to figure out if he wants to really be in charge,” he said on Thursday’s edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today.
“How can a name get to the point of getting to the National Assembly for clearing – that is the final stage – and then you do not even know? Anyone who would have been involved in these should leave.”
He berated the Tinubu government for doing “things the way you want” irrespective of what Nigerians and the law say.
“This government does not have any sense of shame. I am afraid to say so. You would feel ashamed to get certain things done,” the elder statesman said on the show.
“And then clearly, there is an element of contempt for citizens. You just do things the way you want and how you want irrespective of the rules and regulations.”
