BREAKING: Court Nullifies PDP Primary, Orders INEC To Recognise New Candidate (DETAILS)
On Thursday, a Federal High Court in Kano declared Mohammad Sani Abacha the duly elected governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Kano State.
According to a SOLACEBASE report, the presiding judge, Justice A.M Liman, nullified the primary election that produced Sadiq Wali as Kano PDP governorship candidate on Thursday evening and ordered INEC to remove his name in favor of Muhammad Sani Abacha.
The judgment, which was virtually delivered, was originally scheduled for 12 p.m. today but was later moved to 4 p.m.
The court granted the plaintiff’s requests in the suit.
Mohammed Sani Abacha is the plaintiff in the suit, and the defendants are Sadiq Aminu Wali, INEC, and the PDP.
