Looking ahead, Daga expressed optimism for Enyimba’s future in both the CAF Confederation Cup and the ongoing 2024-2025 Nigeria Premier Football League season. After a successful season and a half with the club, he is excited about the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Reflecting on his journey, Daga shared, “It has been a great honor to wear the Enyimba FC jersey, from my debut to my final match. The experience has been invaluable.”

He acknowledged the collective efforts of his teammates, the support from fans, and the guidance from the coaching staff, all of which helped create unforgettable memories during his time at Enyimba.

After a tough few months, Enyimba recently broke their 10-match winless streak with a dominant 4-1 victory over Mozambique’s Black Bulls in the Confederation Cup. Currently sitting ninth in the NPFL standings with 24 points from 16 matches, Daga expressed his confidence that the team will excel in the second half of the season.

“I wish the team the best in the remainder of the league campaign, and I look forward to seeing them succeed on the continental stage,” Daga concluded.

Notably, Daga was also part of the Nigerian Under-20 team that impressed at the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Argentina, reaching the quarter-finals.
