BREAKING: Former AFAN President Kabir Faskari Is D**d

Former President of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) and the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Architect Kabir Ibrahim Faskari, has died in Istanbul, Turkey.

Faskari, who also served as Chairman of the Agriculture Business Group, reportedly passed away following complications arising from a prostate surgery.

According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, a close associate of the deceased confirmed his death, revealing that Faskari had recently hosted some of his associates in Istanbul before they returned to Nigeria.

The source disclosed that the agriculturist later developed complications after undergoing the medical procedure. His remains are reportedly expected to be buried in Turkey.

Faskari was widely recognised as a prominent voice in Nigeria’s agricultural sector, having played influential roles in several farmers’ organisations across the country.

During his tenure as president of AFAN and PAN, he became particularly known for his advocacy on issues affecting farmers, poultry production, food security and agricultural businesses.

The late agriculturist was also a consistent advocate for Nigerian farmers and frequently raised concerns over challenges confronting food production and the broader agricultural industry.

Throughout his career, Faskari granted numerous media interviews in which he offered perspectives on agriculture, food security and government policies capable of improving the livelihoods of farmers and strengthening Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

His death is expected to be mourned by farmers, agricultural stakeholders and associates across the country who benefited from his contributions to the sector.
