BREAKING: INEC Declares Winner Of Delta Governorship Election
Rt Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori, a Peoples Democratic Party candidate, was declared the winner of Delta State’s governorship election held on March 18th.
INEC State Returning Officer Prof Georgewill Owunari, Vice Chancellor Rivers State University, declared the results at the INEC Collation Center in Asaba, saying Sheriff Oborevwori received 360234 votes to defeat All Progressives Congress APC Candidate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who received 240229 votes.
Kennedy Pela, the Labour Party candidate, came in third place with 48047 votes.
Oborevwori won 21 of the state’s 25 local government areas, leaving the APC with four.
