BREAKING: ‘Obidients’ Devastated As Baba-Ahmed Joins Tinubu Government, Appointed As Special Adviser

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the elder brother of Datti Baba-Ahmed, has been named as the special adviser on political matters to Vice-President Kashim Shettima in President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Datti Baba-Ahmed previously ran as the vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 election.

Hakeem, who is also the spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), made this announcement in a post on his official Twitter page on Monday.

It is time to make it public that I have accepted the call to serve as Special Adviser (Political) to the VP, @KShettim .This is not the time for fence-sitting or criticism when you can be useful in turning the country round. I am honored and humbled. Please pray for me & Nigeria

He said now is not the time for fence-sitting or criticism and urged Nigerians to pray for him and the country.

“It is time to make it public that I have accepted the call to serve as Special Adviser (Political) to the VP, @KShettim,” he said.
