Breaking: ‘Protect Yourself’ – NCDC Makes Fresh Announcement Amid Ebola Outbreak
The NCDC confirmed that no cases of Ebola have been recorded in Nigeria but is closely monitoring the situation and strengthening surveillance at the country’s entry points. The agency emphasized its ongoing preparedness efforts, including updated emergency plans, enhanced surveillance, and expanded diagnostic capabilities at airports and laboratories.
NCDC Director-General, Jide Idris, clarified that while there are no Ebola vaccines available in Nigeria, the country is ready to activate testing facilities if necessary. He urged the public to stay informed and protect themselves while the situation is monitored closely.
