BREAKING: Supreme Court Fixes Judgment Date In Kanu’s Trial
The Supreme Court has scheduled December 15 for the verdict on the appeals lodged by both the Federal Government and the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
This decision was reached on Thursday following the concluding remarks presented by the Federal Government’s representative, Tijani Gazali (SAN), and Kanu’s counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN).

The Federal Government is seeking to overturn a prior judgment by the Court of Appeal that dismissed the charge of treasonable felony against Kanu and mandated his release, contending that his return to the country after absconding from bail was unlawful.
Conversely, Kanu is urging the court to uphold the judgment of the Court of Appeal and nullify the subsequent order that suspended the execution of the judgment.
