BREAKING: Yakubu’s Death Announced

Mrs. Saratu Yakubu, the mother of former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, passed away at the age of 103.

Dogara announced her demise on Friday evening, expressing gratitude and submitting to the will of God Almighty.

In a statement, he shared, “It is with utmost gratitude that we announce the transition to glory of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Mama Saratu Yakubu Tukur, which occurred today, Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 103 years.”

Dogara found solace in the fact that his mother led a life marked by total commitment, dedication, and service to God and humanity. As the representative of Dass/Tafawa Balewa/Bogoro Constituency in the Green Chamber, he mentioned that details of the funeral arrangements would be disclosed in due course.
